Didi Han was born in Malang , Indonesia in 1955.

After receiving his Hotel and Tourism  degree from the

National Hotel Institute in Bandung,

 Didi started his career at an International  Hotel in Jakarta.

He then pursued his career at an International Merlin Hotel in Singapore as a cook .

In 1980, Didi decided to move to Europe where he worked as a cook at variousa

  restaurant and international hotels such as Indonesian Restaurant Melati in Naarden Vesting ,Challet  Suisse and the

Schiphol Hilton International . Luxury Collection Amsterdam

And in 1993  founding chef of  the  Crowne Plaza Amsterdam Schiphol While

 working as a cook, Didi developed his food carving and garnishing skills.

After several years of experience, Didi decided to specialize in food decoration such as fruit and vegetable carving.

He then further his carving mastery by learning to make ice carving in

Tokyo Hilton Shinjuku .

Now his skills are not limited to just carving fruits and vegetables, but also carving

 ice, chocolate, butter sculpture ,etc

In his spare time, Didi likes to travel around the world to seek out new ideas and experiences in food decoration. Through his travel experiences, Didi is able to create unique characteristics in his carving that represent him
